Happy 2025 from Pittsboro, N.C. It's been quite a bit colder than usual here in North Carolina, and I have been spending a lot of time indoors preparing myself for the coming year. Pictured here is a 30x30 oil painting called 'Serenity in Blue'. It is meant to inspire a sense of awe and magic about winter, snow, ice, trees and water. My husband Jeff and I will be in Iceland for ten days in July for our first European vacation together. I look forward to taking many photos and turning them into abstract paintings!
